Couldn’t buy it in audiobook format from Audible as it’s geographically rights restricted and I’m in the UK, and the UK Audible doesn’t have it.
Couldn’t buy it from Amazon.com for the Kindle as that’s also geographical rights restricted. And you can’t get Kindle books anywhere else.
So I bought it from an Amazon UK bookstore on CD’s which they’d bought from the US. Not that I have a CD player to listen to it on, so I’m ripping the discs into iTunes now. And yes I’d looked in the iTunes bookstore for both audiobooks and iBooks…
Isn’t the Internet supposed to make things easier?
Yes I was happy to pay a premium for the CD’s as I wanted this book. But I’d have been happier just to pay a premium for the audiobook in the first place.
